Armenian SMEs with less than 250 employees can get local consultancy of up to €10,000 (<60% of costs) and international advisory of up to €52,800 (<88% of costs) to further improve financing solutions of their businesses in Armenia.
Migrants in Armenia, including working migrants, returnees and their families, can get support via the EU4IMPACT through a 1.5-month-long business training course aiming to raise awareness of investment opportunities and equip them with practical knowledge and skills on how to develop a business.
Innovative technology and tourism-related start-ups and businesses registered in Armenia can get support in the frame of acceleration and incubation programmes with grant schemes.
Acceleration programmes offer access to skills, knowledge, mentorship and networks to compete in national and international markets, while incubation programmes offer support to scale up, pitch to investors and transform ideas into commercially viable products and services.
Small businesses from various industries, such as food and beverages, wholesale and retail distribution, construction and engineering can get local consultancy of up to €10,000 (<60% of costs) and international advisory of up to €52,800 (<88% of costs) to further improve financing solutions of their businesses in Armenia.
Entrepreneurs, which are now either in Armenia or abroad, can join Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Program. It aims at fostering the intercultural exchange of entrepreneurs and a chance to learn from European colleagues in the European companies. An Armenian entrepreneur will learn from his/her more experienced colleague in one of the European countries participating in the program.
Who can participate?
- Entrepreneurs with up to 3 years of experience.
- Anyone who plans to start a business.
The program stipulates that 75% of the costs of the entire exchange are covered by the EU grant on a monthly basis, and 25% of the costs are borne by the entrepreneur. Entrepreneurs can be on an exchange abroad for 1 to 3 months.

SMEs in the sectors of bio/organic food, wine, tourism, textiles and creative industries can apply for twinning, B2B matchmaking and study visits. 59 sub grant schemes for 3rd parties at €60.000 (maximum, based upon the nature and duration of the activities) are available as a support to SMEs with exports to EU countries.
EU4IMPACT aims to support the migrants, including working migrants, returnees and their families, in development of already existing businesses or start-ups by providing €2,000 -10,000 funding to acquire main means and raw material, as well as branding and/or packaging services.
The project supports the development of ventures in innovative tourism and technology by providing technical assistance for individual requirements depending on the partner and scope of the instrument.
The Eastern Partnership Trade Helpdesk facilitates you in identifying exporting obstacles and better understanding regulatory and procedural issues in trading goods and services as well as offers capacity building programme in market analysis at the country level. The one-stop-shop online portal on the region and the EU gives free access to trade information (tariffs, non-tariff measures, taxes, trade statistics and procedures) to all business entities.
