Armenian agribusinesses take part in food and beverage trade fair in Germany

Fifteen Armenian companies from the agribusiness sector showcased their products at the world’s leading food and beverage trade fair, Anuga 2025, held from October 4-8 in Cologne, Germany.

This became possible through the support of the ‘Building Sustainable Apparel and Agribusiness Value Chains in Armenia’ project, implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and funded by the European Union. Anuga serves as a global meeting point for industry professionals to explore the latest innovations, emerging trends, and sustainable solutions.

Armenian SMEs presented a variety of locally produced goods, including dried fruits, teas, canned foods, sauces, sweets, and chocolates.

“Through participation in this major international fair, Armenian SMEs continue to strengthen their global presence, gain valuable insights into EU market requirements, enhance their understanding of entry strategies, and explore potential partnerships and business opportunities,” said a press release by the EU Delegation to Armenia.

The participation proved highly successful, with Darman Organic Herbal Tea signing a sales contract directly at the Armenian stand. As a result, Armenian herbal teas will soon be available at Lafayette Gourmet in Paris, marking a significant step forward in promoting Armenian natural products in the European market.
