Armenian companies take part in International Food and Beverage Exhibition with EU support

Eleven Armenian companies from the agribusiness sector showcased their products at the 60th International Food and Beverage Exhibition, SIAL Paris 2024, held from October 19-23 in Paris. This was made possible with support of the ‘Building Sustainable Apparel and Agribusiness Value Chains in Armenia’ project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC).

The Armenian SMEs displayed a diverse array of local products, including an assortment of dried fruits, teas, canned goods, sauces, sweets, chocolate, etc.

SIAL Paris 2024 is the world’s largest food innovation exhibition, making it an ideal venue for Armenian businesses to highlight their offerings.

“This prestigious event provided a unique platform for Armenian agribusinesses to promote their high-quality, natural products, deeply rooted in the country’s rich agricultural heritage,” the EU Delegation to Armenia said in a Facebook post. “The participation aimed to bolster their international presence, generate export opportunities, and introduce global audiences to the vibrant flavours of Armenia.”

It was also a good opportunity for Armenian SMEs to gain insights into European market requirements, understand entry strategies, and explore potential business opportunities.
