Project description
Investment in an Armenia-focused private equity fund forms part of the Small and Medium Enterprise Finance and Advice Facility, a joint initiative between EBRD and the European Union focused on private sector development in Armenia and, specifically, improving access to finance for Armenian SMEs.
Project Objectives
The objective of the project is to improve access to finance for SMEs through a combination of investment projects and technical assistance, and a diversification of sources of finance, ultimately creating jobs, contributing to increased investment, capital market development and diversification of economic activity.
