Call for Expressions of Interest: Investment Opportunities in Armenia

The European Union has launched a Call for Expressions of Interest inviting EU/EEA and Armenia-based private companies to explore concrete investment opportunities in Armenia. 

The initiative aims to support investments aligned with the EU’s Global Gateway priorities and strengthen EU-Armenia economic cooperation, competitiveness and value chain integration.

Priority sectors include:

  • Energy, climate and green transition
  • Transport, logistics and trade facilitation
  • Digital technology, innovation and knowledge-based economy
  • Health
  • Education and research
  • Advanced manufacturing and industrialisation
  • Agriculture and agri-food industry

The Call is open to private enterprises, joint ventures and consortia established in EU/EEA countries or Armenia. Eligible projects must be implemented in Armenia and have a minimum total investment size of EUR 30 million, with at least 20% equity participation by the project promoter.

Project proposals will be assessed based on strategic relevance, socio-economic impact, innovation potential, financial viability and alignment with EU environmental, social and governance standards.

The submission portal is open from 5 May 2026 for a period of 12 months. Proposals will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Interested companies are invited to submit their proposals through the EU Survey platform.
